Team Church has been asked to help with food items for a special Literacy Day on Saturday, Oct. 5th that KARE is participating in. Please mark your calendars to attend and also provide some volunteer help with for this special time.

KARE is hosting a luncheon and fashion show at First Baptist Kershaw at noon. Team Church has been asked to help set up the tables and chairs for the event the night before (Friday, Oct. 18; time tba).

Plans are in the works for a Christian Rapper to be featured at First Baptist Kershaw’s Back to School Event. Doug Murray is planning on transporting youth to anyone who needs a ride. More details will be coming on this.

Sunday, August 18, The Youth will pack and deliver 60 lunches for the hungry in Camden. Any volunteers are welcome to join in. Doug will feed the youth and get them back to Kershaw by 3:30. Lunches are prepared immediately following church services.
You can also be a help by donating your plastic grocery bags for the youth to use.

The Lancaster County Championship Frog Gigging event will take place on Saturday Aug. 17. Doug Murray is hosting a team from church in this event and invites those interested to join him at his house 6PM Aug. 17 for a pre-event cookout. The championship, sponsored by the Lancaster County Coon Club will take place that evening until 1 or 2 AM.
